Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-07-17 · Last updated: 2026-07-17
This Privacy Policy describes how Swipe Reflex ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use our mobile game. It applies to the app on both the Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). Where behavior differs between platforms, we say so explicitly. We've written this in plain language because we think you should actually be able to read it.
1. Who We Are
Swipe Reflex is developed and published by OneUp Tech. You can contact us at oneuptechro@gmail.com.
2. What the Game Does by Default
Your game progress (levels completed, coins, diamonds, achievements, shop purchases, garden state, and settings) is stored on your device. To let you keep progress across your own devices and after reinstalling, save data can also be synced through your platform's cloud storage:
- iOS: save data is synced using Apple iCloud (iCloud Key-Value storage) tied to your Apple ID. This data stays within your iCloud account; we do not receive or store it on our own servers.
- Android: save data may be synced using Google Play Games Services if you sign in (see section 3.1).
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data. We do not fingerprint your device.
Local Notifications
The game schedules local reminders on your device (e.g. "your crops are ready", "cup game is ready", "ranked mode is available"). These are handled entirely by your device's operating system — we do not send push notifications from any server and we never see whether or when a notification fires.
Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand, in aggregate, how the game is used so we can fix bugs and improve it. Google generates a random, app-specific instance identifier and records anonymous information such as app opens, gameplay events, crash logs, and performance data. This data is not linked to your name or email, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
This analytics data is processed by Google under the Firebase Privacy and Security terms. We do not sell your data.
On Android, Analytics collection is automatically turned off for players whom Google Play's Age Signals indicate are children via Google Play's age signals. You can also reset or delete the identifiers used for analytics and ads at any time in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete advertising ID), or by uninstalling the app, which clears the analytics instance identifier. On iOS, we rely on the App Store age rating and do not knowingly enable tracking for children
3. Analytics, Ads, Sync, and Purchases
3.1 Cloud Progress Sync
iOS — Apple iCloud: if you are signed in to iCloud, the app syncs your save data through iCloud Key-Value storage so you can resume on another device or restore your progress after reinstalling. Apple handles this data under the Apple Privacy Policy. You can manage or delete this data in Settings → [your name] → iCloud.
Android — Google Play Games: if you choose to sign in with your Google Play Games account, the app uses Google Play Games Services to:
- Authenticate you with your Google Play Games profile
- Synchronize your game progress to Google's Saved Games cloud, so you can resume on another device or restore progress after reinstalling
- When available, submit your scores to leaderboard features and unlock achievements visible to other players
When you sign in on Android, Google may process your Play Games player ID, profile display name, and avatar. This data is handled by Google under its own Privacy Policy. We receive only the minimum needed to store your save data and display your name in supported leaderboard features when available.
You can sign out at any time through the Google Play Games app or your device settings. Signing out stops the sync; local progress on your device is preserved.
3.2 Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows ads served by Google AdMob, including rewarded ads — optional videos you can watch in exchange for in-game rewards (e.g. skipping a cooldown, receiving an extra fertilizer, receiving bonus currency). You are never required to watch an ad to progress in the game.
To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect:
- A mobile advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS or Google Advertising ID on Android)
- Coarse location derived from IP address
- Device model, operating system version, and general device characteristics
- Information about which ads were shown and whether you interacted with them
On iOS, AdMob uses Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) for personalized advertising only if you grant permission. When required, the app shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you decline, your identifier is not used to track you across other companies' apps and websites, and you will receive non-personalized ads. You can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
On Android, AdMob uses the Google Advertising ID, which is resettable. You can reset it or opt out of ad personalization in Settings → Privacy → Ads.
This processing is performed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy and the AdMob Data Disclosure. We ourselves do not receive or store the Advertising ID or any ad interaction data.
Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland will see a consent message from Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized ads are shown, as required by GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive. You can choose non-personalized ads, which use less data.
3.3 In-App Purchases
The game offers optional in-app purchases, including:
- Diamond packs (consumable, paid virtual currency)
- Garden-slot unlocks (non-consumable, one-time purchases)
Purchases are processed by the platform's store, not by us:
- iOS: Apple via the App Store and StoreKit
- Android: Google via Google Play Billing
The store shares limited transaction data with us, such as a product ID, transaction ID, and purchase token, so we can deliver the item and validate the purchase. We never receive or store your payment card number, bank details, billing address, or other payment information.
4. Data We Collect, at a Glance
Put together, here is the complete picture of data the app (or services acting on its behalf) processes:
- Stored on your device and synced to your cloud: game progress, coins, diamonds, settings, achievements, and garden state — via Apple iCloud on iOS or Google Play Games on Android
- Google Analytics for Firebase: app-instance ID, anonymous gameplay events, crash logs, and performance diagnostics
- Google Play Games on Android (only if signed in): player ID, display name, avatar, save data, challenge or leaderboard scores when available
- Google AdMob (when ads are shown): advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS or Google Advertising ID on Android), coarse IP-derived location, device type, and ad interactions
- App Store or Google Play Billing (only if you purchase): product ID, transaction ID, and purchase token
- Never collected: your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, microphone, camera, files, payment card, or billing details
5. Permissions the App Requests
- Tracking (iOS only) — requested through the App Tracking Transparency prompt and used only for personalized advertising. This is optional; the game works fully if you decline.
- Notifications — for local reminders (crops ready, ranked mode available). Denying this permission does not affect gameplay.
- Internet — used to load ads, sync progress, send anonymous analytics, and process purchases. Offline play is supported.
- Wake lock (Android only) — lets scheduled notifications fire while the device is idle.
We do not request access to your location, microphone, camera, contacts, storage, or any sensitive data.
6. Children's Privacy
Swipe Reflex is intended for players aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at oneuptechro@gmail.com and we will delete it immediately.
The game complies with Google Play's Families Policy to the extent applicable: no behavioral advertising is shown to signed-in users under 13; ad networks used (AdMob) are certified for the Designed for Families program configuration where required.
In addition, Firebase Analytics collection is automatically disabled for users that Google Play's Age Signals identify as children, so no gameplay analytics are gathered from them.
On iOS, we rely on the App Store age rating and do not knowingly enable tracking for children.
7. Your Rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)
Because we hold very little data that identifies you, most requests concern platform or advertising identifiers that you control through Apple or Google account and device settings. Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of any data we hold about you
- Rectify — correct inaccurate data
- Erase — request deletion of your data (see section 8)
- Object to or restrict processing — including the right to opt out of personalized ads
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
We do not sell your personal information.
To exercise these rights, contact us at oneuptechro@gmail.com. For data processed by Google (Play Games, AdMob, and Play Billing), you can manage your data directly in your Google account at myaccount.google.com.
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. How to Delete Your Data
On-device game progress: uninstall the app. All local progress is removed.
iOS iCloud saves: go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage, then remove Swipe Reflex data.
Android Google Play Games cloud saves: open the Google Play Games app → your profile → Settings → Delete Play Games account & data, or visit myaccount.google.com/yourdata/play.
Advertising identifier: on iOS, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, go to Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete advertising ID, or visit adssettings.google.com.
Analytics data: uninstalling the app resets the random analytics instance identifier. Resetting your advertising ID (above) also limits how analytics and ads data can be associated with you.
Purchase history: managed in your Apple or Google account. Refund requests go through the applicable store.
You can also email us at oneuptechro@gmail.com and we will help you with any deletion request within 30 days.
9. Data Security
All communication between the app and third-party services (Firebase, AdMob, App Store or Play Billing, and iCloud or Play Games) is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Local data on your device is protected by the operating system's application sandbox. We do not operate any servers that hold your personal data.
10. International Data Transfers
Our service providers, Apple and Google, may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate. These transfers occur under those providers' standard contractual clauses and other legal safeguards. We do not ourselves transfer personal data internationally because we do not collect it directly.
11. Third-Party Services We Rely On
- Google Analytics for Firebase — privacy & security, privacy policy
- Google Play Games Services — privacy policy
- Google AdMob — data disclosure, privacy policy
- Google Play Billing — privacy policy
- Apple App Store and iCloud — privacy policy
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the game evolves (for example, when we add or remove features that affect data handling). When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the app's release notes. Your continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
